Located in the grand West Cliff area of Whitby we’re just a leisurely stroll from the long sandy beach, town centre and the beautiful historic harbour, where you can appreciate the delights of the many restaurants, cafes and bars Whitby has to offer.

We pride ourselves on our friendly relaxed atmosphere with us, your hosts Phill & Sophie, on hand whenever you need us. Our Yorkshire Breakfast is cooked freshly to order using the best local ingredients on offer.

Our eight spacious rooms have either a stunning outlook over St Hilda’s Church or views out to sea. All rooms are en-suite with modern furnishings and space to sit and unwind after long days exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby, surrounding North York Moors National Park and gorgeous coastline.

A breakfast to return for

A leisurely affair, breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:30, allowing you plenty of time make the most of the day ahead or stay in bed that little bit longer. Offered each day are fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, and fruit juices; followed by a choice of a number of cooked options including our traditional Yorkshire breakfast or one of Sophie’s daily specials.
